View from Eileen and Robin's

IMG_4476, première mise en ligne par macmom6.

This is the view from Eileen and Robin's top upstairs room. I can handle a view like that every day, couldn't you? They're just opening their home to visitors so stay tuned, I'll give you more details if you'd like to pay them a visit. The surrounding area is charming and they're not terribly far from the coast. A day trip to the beach is very doable.

Eileen had gorgeous flowers

I just loved these canals.

This town is known as the little Venise of France. The canals are so cute.

It was quite impressive.

Here is a close up of the church. Lots of gargoyles. I didn't take any inside. I have a thing about photographing insides of churches. I don't know why. I don't like to infringe on someone's personal worship I guess. The inside was full of about 15 mini chapels all dedicated to some saint or another.

We spent a day at Pont Audemer. Here is a close up of the flowers on the church.

This Old House

You can't get much older than this. 1750! Just behind this lovely place was the chateau to which this building belongs. It is really in the middle of no where! Bit by bit Robin and Eileen are remodeling the place, keeping with the original spirit of the the home.

We were thrilled to meet this lovely couple near Etréville, France. They have a house that dates back to 1750 that they're opening as sort of a bed and breakfast.
